| The initial version of this set included 10 silver trading cards. Each card also came with a collectible paper card showing the same image as the silver card but in color. Later the set added four more silver cards (Two Star Trek Generations, The Next Generation & Deeps Space Nine) for a total set of 14 cards. The 14 card set didn’t include the paper trading cards. Each silver card is solid silver weighing 1.1 troy ounces. The individual silver cards in both sets come inside a hard plastic protector case which increases the size of each card to a standard 2½” x 3½”.
Each Silver card comes with a certificate which states, “This certificate authenticates the enclosed ingot as an oridinal from the Star Trek Silver Cinema Art Collection Series. This collectable .9999 silver ingot was minted by the Continental Coin Company in 1992 under License from Paramount Pictures.” |
