Unlike the Topps set which had 88 cards, this set only has 72 cards and no stickers. It is significantly rarer than the Topps set. According to the PSA website, nobody has registered a complete graded set. I decided to put both brands of cards on the same page because there’s no difference between the Scanlens and Allen’s & Regina cards. They both only indicate the Topps brand on the back of the cards. The wax pack wrappers and boxes are the only differences in the brands. This set shows a copyright date of 1976 but may not have been released until 1979 according to one source. However, I find that to be highly unlikely due to the release of The Motion Picture cards in 1979. | |||||||
